Dear Friends and Community,
I hope you are staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. We appreciate everyone who has been in touch via email and over Instagram as it means so much to feel connected to each and every one of you.
In March, we launched our Masks For All initiative. For every purchase of a HTH Face Mask 10 Pack, we are donating 10 masks to those in need. Our masks are one-size-fits-most and made using our textile remnants in the style approved and needed by the Deaconess Health System. We take great care to include an assortment of patterns and colors in every order. However, to fulfill orders in a timely manner, we choose from whatever patterns and colors are available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests.
With your support, we have sold over 85,000 masks and are on course to donate 85,000 more to those who need them most. HTH has made donations to:
St. Joseph Center
CORE Community Organized Relief Effort
This Is About Humanity
SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford
Elmhurst Hospital in Queens
North Shore University Hospital in Long Island
Los Angeles County Children and Family Services
San Bernardino County Children and Family Services
UCLA Medical Center
Cedars Sinai Medical Center
Journey Out Los Angeles
Saving Innocence
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center
Mutual Aid Los Angeles
As recommended for the greater good, we should all have a set of masks in rotation that can be used and properly cleaned. If you have any to spare, think of your neighbors and the selfless individuals in the service industries who are keeping our mail coming and markets open.
Thank you for being part of this endeavor. Let’s stay connected along the way.
Love,
Heather
